“You should look like yourself, only more gorgeous, on your wedding day,” says Michele Falco of Bridal by Michele, who suggests a hair and makeup trial beforehand so there are no surprises on your wedding day. She begins by prepping Irina’s skin with a moisturizer designed specifically for airbrush makeup. Next Michele applies a concealer to any imperfections, creating a flawless canvas for the makeup. She then dusts a light pink and smokey purple eye shadow onto Irina’s eye lids. Michele outlines her top and bottom lashes with a gray pencil and waterproof mascara. Next, Michele applies air-brush foundation in soft beige, and a soft rose color to Irina’s cheeks. “Airbrush makeup can last the whole day. It doesn’t need touching up, and won’t rub off,” says Michele,. “I finish the look with a light pink lipstick and raspberry gloss. ”Irina’s hair is prepped with a light styling aid for shine and body. Michele sets her hair with a large hit rollers and uses a curling iron to create spiral curls. She then runs her fingers through Irina’s hair and teases it at the crown for height and fullness. “Finally, I adorn the side of their hair with a crystal hairpin to complement her gown and bring attention to her beautiful green eyes.” Michele began doing hair and makeup 32 years ago while working for her father in their family salon. “Your bridal makeup should be soft and natural, but still have a glamorous edge,” says Charles Douglas of Rouge Makeup Studio. He begins by airbrushing foundation and blush onto Mayte’s skin to create a flawless long-wearing finish. “A black eye liner and false lashes add drama and enhance Mayte’s unique features.” For a sunkissed look, Charles dusts “Arabian Nights.” A soft peach blush from Rouge Cosmetics, onto the apples of her cheeks. To enhance Mayte’s beautiful lips, he applies “Burdon,” a pink lipstick and “Maui,” a shimmery gloss also from Rouge Cosmetics. “I begin by prepping Mayte’s hair with styling lotion for extra body,” says Michele Falco of Bridal by Michele. “To create body I use large rollers. I then run my fingers through her hair to loosen the curls.
